Why start scent work with your dog? 

Scent work is a fantastic sport that allows your dog to harness their innate sense of smell to detect odors. Dogs “live” in scent and can “see” with their nose, even perceiving the past. Their sense of smell is 10,000 to 100,000 times better than ours.

 

Scent work provides mental stimulation, making your dog happy and mentally tired.

 

The wonderful side benefits of scent work are that any dog, regardless of age or ability, can participate. It strengthens the bond between you and your dog and allows your dog to make choices in a world where we often dictate their daily activities. Scent work is an excellent outlet for high-energy dogs, builds confidence in anxious dogs, and helps easily distracted dogs to refocus.

 

I will teach you using the same methods used to train detection dogs.
