Bringing a rescue dog into your life is a beautiful and life-changing experience - but those first days, weeks, and even months can be overwhelming for both humans and dogs. That’s why I offer a special 3-session training package designed to support you and your new dog during the critical settling-in period. This service is for: • New adopters who brought home a rescue within the last two weeks • Individuals about to adopt and preparing their home and routines in advance Together, we’ll focus on setting up a calm, secure environment while helping your dog adjust at their own pace. You’ll learn how to reduce stress, build trust, and avoid common challenges during the early transition period. These sessions are spaced out based on your dog’s adjustment timeline and can be used anytime within the first three months of adoption. What we’ll cover: • Creating a safe, predictable home setup • Building early routines and structure that foster confidence • Understanding decompression and emotional processing • Using enrichment to support calmness and engagement • Identifying when a dog is ready for more structured training • Relationship-building through communication, not control • Preventing overwhelm and supporting a positive first bond What’s required: • Completion of the Training Intake Form (due 48 hours before your first session) • Purchase of the 3-session training package (must be used within 3 months of adoption) Please note: If your rescue dog has been home longer than two weeks, or if you’re reaching out with specific training or behavior concerns, you’ll need to begin with the New Client Intake & Orientation Session instead. This ensures we can take a deeper dive into your dog’s needs and set up the right path forward.
