Rattlesnake Training – Group Class (6 Weeks) Held in Parker, Colorado Join me for this unique 6-week group class where we teach dogs rattlesnake avoidance using reward-based methods! This course is designed to keep both dogs and humans safe by turning the sight, scent, and sound of a rattlesnake into cues for a reliable recall and alert behavior. You’ll also learn about snake safety, rattlesnake behavior, and how to build clear, structured communication with your dog in the presence of snake-related stimuli. Unlike traditional aversive-based methods, this course does not rely on e-collars or fear. Pain-based rattlesnake training can backfire - causing fear, confusion, or even panic when your dog encounters a snake in real life. Instead, we focus on helping your dog remain clear-headed and connected to you during potentially dangerous situations. Online access is provided for participants who want additional content outside of class. Online material access will only be accruable for 365 days after class start - so you can revisit the content as needed. Please note: Group classes require at least 2 participants. If fewer than 2 are enrolled 48 hours before the start date, the class might be rescheduled and a new date offered. Group Class Benefits: • Learn alongside others and discover questions you didn’t know you had • Support and camaraderie with fellow participants • Dedicated group text thread for ongoing communication • A fixed weekly schedule to support consistency and progress Key Details: • All training is fun and fully reward-based • Designed for dogs with some prior experience in positive reinforcement; if you’re unsure, please reach out before booking • This 6-week course meets once per week • Sessions are approximately 45 minutes, based on the dogs’ focus and energy • Some portions may be recorded for your personal reference and/or social media (opt-out available) • A list of required equipment will be provided, if applicable • No e-collars, prong collars, or choke chains permitted • Participation does not guarantee that you or your dog will never be bitten by a rattlesnake (or other snakes)
