A relaxed dog is a happy dog - especially in our often “scary” world. Achieving a relaxed and confident dog takes consistent training, mutual understanding, and life skills or obedience work. Every dog will encounter things that make them uncomfortable or fearful, and they’ll also do things that we, as dog owners, may not like or understand. Through training and patience, we can guide them towards being their best selves! With my dog obedience training & dog life skills training I am here to help you! An adolescence dog can be especially challenging, as your cute little puppy seemingly has gone into raptor mode on certain days and forgot all the training so far! A lot of patience and understanding what happens in the dogs brain is now important, as well as having a good communication here will help the dog to gain the necessary life skills. If mistakes have been made in puppyhood/ adolescence they can show in adulthood. But the good thing is - you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! Studies have shown that dogs can learn until high age and it can even be beneficial, as it will keep their brain young! So it is never too late to train your dog something new, or work on behaviors, it might just take a bit longer than with a younger dog. What you can learn here with dreamlike4paws: * correct socialization * taking your dog with you to places (e.g. restaurants, malls, ...) * household manners * loose leash walking * recall * confidence building * greeting manners * leave it / take it / hand touch and follow * dog specific fun games e.g. fetch, tricks, little hunt games, ... * Fun games for you and your dog * AKC Good Citizen * dog - human communication * how much is too much in dog training & exercise * ... working on specific dog training issues and questions as they arise * ALL training will be fun & reward based * Please return the Intake Form at least 48h before the first session (will be provided when booking a plan) * certain session parts will be recorded for your keeping and training reference * Duration 45-60 min depending on the dogs attention span and training intensity of the day * when booking at least the 3 session plan, access to relevant personalized videos will be granted * sometimes it might be necessary to train in different places than the customers place
