Behavior challenges can deeply affect the relationship we have with our dogs - and sometimes even disrupt the entire family dynamic. That’s where I come in. As a certified canine behavior consultant, I offer Dog Behavior Consulting to help you better understand and support your dog through positive, science-based strategies. Many behavior issues require compassion, patience, and deep understanding. To truly help a dog, we must look beyond the behavior itself and consider the dog as a whole - through the lens of evolution, genetics, neurobiology, endocrinology, and physiology. These five lenses help us understand why a behavior is happening and how to ethically and effectively modify it. Changing behavior often means changing a dog’s emotional response to a stimulus. That takes time, consistency, and trust. At dreamlike4paws, I use only reward-based training - never shock, prong, or choke collars - to guide both you and your dog toward lasting change. Common behavior concerns include: • Phobias or noise sensitivities • Anxiety and stress-based behaviors • Excessive barking or vocalization • Guarding of space, food, or toys • Destructive behavior • Aggression toward humans or other animals • Chasing or high prey drive responses What to expect: Behavior change is a process that takes time. That’s why this service is offered exclusively as a 10-session package, with weekly in-person meetings. This format provides the structure, consistency, and support needed to create meaningful change and support your dog’s emotional well-being. Please note: All new clients are required to complete a one-time Virtual Intake & Orientation Session before booking. This ensures we start with a clear, personalized plan tailored to you and your dog.
