Continuing Nose Work
Continue Building your Dog’s Nose Work Journey
Service Description
Continue building your dog’s odor recognition, search skills, confidence, and independence through increasingly varied and challenging searches. This ongoing class is designed for teams that have completed Introduction to Odor and want to continue developing their Nose Work skills. Searches may include containers, interiors, exteriors, vehicles, elevated hides, inaccessible hides, and a variety of environmental challenges - as well as AKC Scent Work & USCSS search setups can be included. Dogs learn to work more independently while handlers develop observation, timing, leash handling, and search management skills. Every search is designed to build confidence, motivation, problem-solving ability, and clear communication at source while keeping the game fun and rewarding. Classes follow NACSW™ training principles and emphasize dog-driven searching. Each dog works individually while the other dogs rest between turns, creating a calm and supportive learning environment. Shy, sensitive, and dog-reactive dogs are welcome.
