Step 2: New Client Intake & Orientation (Required for Private Training)

This is where your training journey truly begins.

This one-hour virtual session gives me the full picture of your dog, your household, and your goals.

It’s a relaxed conversation designed to lay the groundwork for personalized training success.

 

After you book below, you’ll receive a short intake form.

We’ll use that to guide our session and ensure we cover all the essentials.

 

During our Zoom session, we’ll:

• Review your home setup and routines

• Talk through behavior history and daily challenges

• Look at your lifestyle and training preferences

• Include everyone involved in training

• (Optional) View parts of your space via video​

What You’ll Get After the Session

• A summary of what we discussed

• A suggested training package  e.g. package of 5, 6 or 10 lessons and the suggested service connected (e.g., puppy, behavior or hunting, ...). 

• A few first training steps or setup adjustments to get you started immediately until we first meet in person.

This session ensures we move forward with the right plan - one that truly fits your goals and your dog’s needs.

Step 3: Start Training & Have Fun!

Now that you’ve chosen your package, it’s time to begin!

We’ll dive into training together - at your dog’s pace and with your goals in mind. Every session builds connection, skills, and confidence for both ends of the leash.

 

Even though we’ll start with a clear plan, life - and training - can be unpredictable. We’ll stay flexible and adjust as needed to match your dog’s progress and what’s going on in your world.

The intake & orientation is required only for private coaching or behavior consulting.

Group classes and the Rescue Dog Welcome Package can be booked without it.
